How To Apply To Our Voucher Program

Our nonprofit organization's primary mission is to assist low-income individuals and families in Snyder, Union, and Northumberland counties with the cost of spaying or neutering their pets through our spay/neuter voucher program.

Our spay/neuter voucher program is for pets of for low-income families and individuals only and is based upon household gross income. Households above $35,000 do not qualify for our programs. You must be a resident of Snyder, Union, or Northumberland county in order to apply.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Our vouchers are for the spaying & neutering of dogs and cats. OUR PROGRAM COVERS A PORTION OF THE COST OF A SPAY OR NEUTER SURGERY. Vouchers can only be used towards the surgery. You are responsible for any other charges.

For planning purposes, SUN P.E.T.S. voucher values are:
  • Female Cat - $125
  • Male Cat - $110
  • Female Dog - $200
  • Male Dog - $150

CALL YOUR CHOSEN PARTICIPATING VET (see below) TO GET AN ESTIMATE BEFORE YOU APPLY FOR A VOUCHER SO YOU KNOW WHAT THOSE ADDITIONAL CHARGES ARE.

You can download our PDF application using the button below. Print it, fill it out, and mail it to us at SUN P.E.T.S., PO Box 64, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
Your application will be reviewed by our organization. If it is approved, you will received a 3-part voucher in the mail. You may make your appointment with any veterinary service listed above once you receive the voucher. Keep the first section of the voucher for your own records, and give the 2nd and 3rd part of the voucher to the vet’s office on the day of your appointment.
