Spay & Neuter Bus

Information On Our Bus Program
Everyone is welcome to apply regardless of income. Financial assistance is available to dog owners that qualify. If you are applying for financial assistance, your household income must be less than $35,000 a year and proof of income is required. You must also be a resident of Snyder, Union, or Northumberland county in order to use this program.

Trip Dates For 2020
We are currently accepting applications for the dates listed below. For each bus trip to the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic we schedule a combination of female dogs, male dogs, and male cats unless noted otherwise.
  • March 12
  • March 30 (cats only - males & females)
  • April 13
  • April 27 (cats only - males & females)
  • May 21
  • June 4
  • June 18
  • July 9
  • July 27

Cost:
  • $125 per male or female dog - includes rabies vaccination, pain medication, and an e-collar for spays/female dogs.
  • $50 per male cat - includes rabies vaccination and pain medication.
  • $75 per female cat - includes rabies vaccination and pain medication. Note: we only include female cats on "cats only" buses.

Note:
  • Cats must be in secure, hard plastic cat carriers. One cat per carrier.
  • Dog collars must be secure. No retractable leashes please.
  • Puppies must be 4 months old and kittens must weigh 3 pounds.

Pick up and drop off location to be announced. An email with that information will be sent a couple of days prior for those that are taking part. Space is limited so apply early for a spot on one of our buses.
