Spay & Neuter Bus

Information On Our Bus Program
Everyone is welcome to apply regardless of income. Financial assistance may be available to those that qualify. If you are applying for financial assistance, your household income must be less than $35,000 a year and proof of income is required. You must be a resident of Snyder, Union, or Northumberland county in order to use our bus program.

Trip Dates
For each bus trip to the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic we schedule a combination of female & male dogs and female & male cats. Applying for a slot does not mean you will be on the next scheduled bus. We will notify you of your trip date when your pet has been slotted.

Cost
  • $150 per female dog - includes rabies vaccination, pain medication, and an e-collar.
  • $125 per male dog - includes rabies vaccination and pain medication.
  • $100 per female cat - includes rabies vaccination and pain medication.
  • $75 per male cat - includes rabies vaccination and pain medication.

If you cancel within 48 hours of the bus, give no notice, or do not show up at the bus, you will be given a 50% refund.

Note
  • Cats must be in secure, hard plastic cat carriers. One cat per carrier.
  • Dog collars must be secure. No retractable leashes please.
  • Puppies must be 4 months old and kittens must weigh 3 pounds.
  • If your dog is aggressive toward humans, they MUST wear a muzzle that allows them to pant. A Baskerville muzzle would be ideal. If you have questions about muzzles please call 570-374-0330.
